The Authority is governed by seven Commissioners, each appointed by the City Commission for a term of four years. If you wish to apply, please visit Boards and Committees to download an application.
Residency is not a requirement to serve as a Commissioner; however, one member must be a resident, current in rent, of the housing project or a person of low or very low income who resides within the housing authority's jurisdiction and is receiving rent subsidy through a program administered by the authority.
