Interpret and enforce the landscape code through site plan review and assist in permit requests for landscape requirements. Provide on-site inspections to property prior to the issuance of the required certificate of occupancy for compliance to approved landscape plans. respond to inquires from the public regarding the Landscape Code requirements. Attend Technical Advisory Committee and Site Plan Review and Appearance Board meetings providing necessary staff comments, presentations and recommendations related to landscape plans in compliance with provisions under the Land Development Regulations. Approve permitting for vegetation and tree removal. Assist in the preparation of amendments and/or updates to the landscape code.

Assist in the preparation of landscape plans and specifications for City facilities and projects carried out with grant funds benefiting low and moderate households.
