The Traffic Operations Division fabricates, removes and installs signs along the City's 163 miles of streets.  Over the last few years, the division has spent a considerable amount of their time making signs for special events. The division also performs traffic counts and striping of our City streets. The division consists of five (5) employees with an operating budget of $290,880.00.

Responsibilities:

• 20,332 L.F. of Road markings/Striping
• 50 Traffic Studies per year
• Maintains 30,000+ signs in the City
• Special Event sign preparation (2,224 per year)
• Special Event assistance signs, barricading
