This upcoming holiday season is an especially trying time for a lot of families. Many of the community’s homeless population and others will feel the impact harder than ever.
Knowing this, The City of Delray Beach Firefighters decided to team up with their Benevolent Association and the Caring Kitchen to provide food for 25 local families in need. The Firefighter’s contributed $1000 towards the purchase of food and supplies to make care packages for each of these families. The Firefighters will be dropping off the donations at the Caring Kitchen on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 10:00am for distribution.
The City of Delray Beach Fire-Rescue Firefighters will remain committed to helping the community and working together through these difficult times. We wish everyone a healthy and happy holiday season!
