Minimum Hourly: $20.82 Maximum Hourly: $31.22
Perform professional work in overseeing the City's safety and loss control programs primarily related to employee safety but also related to other legal liabilities of the City, such as public safety, vehicle operations, and pollution. Develop and maintain effective safety and loss prevention programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations. Inspect City operations and facilities, and investigate worker's compensation accidents, making recommendations to reduce the hazard and/or prevent reoccurrence. Coordinate and provide departmental safety training, as required by law or, as necessary for safe operations of facilities. Perform other related duties as required. |

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with preferred course work in occupational safety. Must have at least five years experience in the safety field. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar designation preferred. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. |
