The volunteers who participate in our Parking Enforcement Unit patrol the shopping malls, beach, and downtown areas. They are responsible for enforcing the parking and handicap laws, and issuing parking tickets to violators.

Their training requires certification (PES) consisting of a 40-hour training course. They are also trained in the use of the police radio and operate police department vehicles which include special purpose vehicles.
