Police Volunteer Programs:

Our Volunteer Program is comprised of approximately 500 citizen Volunteers.  Acting as the "Eyes & Ears" of the police department, these Volunteers take an active role in helping to protect the community in which they live.  Our Volunteers are under the direct supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator, a sworn police officer, and are broken down into three Groups – each led by a Volunteer Major.  The Groups are in turn divided into Divisions – each led by a Volunteer Captain.  Our Volunteers patrol in cars, golf carts, electric cars, boats, and on foot!  Anywhere they are needed, our Volunteers step up and help!!
