These Volunteers provide much needed administrative support to the different divisions throughout the Police Department. They provide assistance to personnel in our Investigative Division by sorting through pawn slips, looking for stolen property, victim/witness support, helping secretaries with clerical jobs, and assisting our Crime Analysis Unit in tracking criminal activity. Some of these Volunteers also work in the front lobby of the Police Department greeting visitors and directing them to the proper police personnel. Other Volunteers answer and direct incoming telephone calls, provide support in our training section, publish a Volunteer newsletter, and provide fingerprinting services to the public.
