Summer Camp Program Parks and Recreation
Job Description:

Recreation Supervisor I: $13.18 hr.
Recreation Leader II - $10.74 hr.
Recreation Leader III - $11.48
Recreation Leader III (Inclusion/Special Needs Training Program) $11.48 hr.

Based on college credits, hourly wage can increase.
High school graduate or GED. A comparable amount of training, education, or volunteer experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License, First Aid and AED/CPR Certification.
Recreation Supervisor I:
Bachelor's Degree in recreation or related field and/or two years supervisory experience. Oversee 60 children and 3 staff. Reconcile money on a daily basis for each summer camp activity. Keep up with the children's attendance. Experience and considerable knowledge in a Summer Camp Program. Ability to organize recreational activities with children 5-12. Knowledge of leadership skills, ability to plan, organizes and conduct Summer Camp activities.
Recreation Leader II: Experience and considerable knowledge in a Summer Camp Program. Ability to organize recreational activities with children 5-12. Knowledge of leadership skills, ability to plan, organize and conduct Summer Camp activities.
Recreation Leader III: Two years experience and considerable knowledge in a Summer Camp Program. Ability to organize recreational activities with children 5-12. Knowledge of leadership skills, ability to plan, organize and conduct Summer Camp activities.
Recreation Leader III (InclusionSpecial Needs Training Program)
High school graduate or GED. Experience in one or more phases of Inclusion Recreation Programs. Mainstream Special Needs children in the Summer Camp Program. Partnership with "THE ARC" which provides training in disabilities and their characteristics, ADA, staff sensitivity training and training relating to special needs children. 

Days and Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m.
