July 4th Celebration

July 4, 2017 - 
 Beginning at 1:30 p.m., east Atlantic Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from the east side of N.E./S.E. 7th Avenue to Ocean Blvd/SR A1A, including all side roads. In addition, Ocean Blvd/SR A1A will be closed from the south side of Thomas Street to  Bucida Street. Road closures will remain in effect until approximately 11 p.m.
All southbound traffic on Ocean Blvd/SR A1A will be detoured via George Bush Blvd/N.E. 8th Street to US1/Federal Highway. All northbound traffic on Ocean Blvd/SR A1A will be detoured via Linton Blvd to US1/Federal Highway.
BOAT TRAFFIC ADVISORY & BRIDGE CLOSURE - Atlantic Avenue Bridge will be closed to marine traffic from approximately 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4 to facilitate holiday celebrations. Boaters are advised to use caution during this time. In addition, George Bush Blvd and Linton Blvd bridges will also be closed to marine traffic during this time.

Emergency Repairs of Water Pipe Leak On East Atlantic Avenue

June 29, 2017
- Starting at 8 am, traffic on East Atlantic Ave, near the Intracoastal Bridge will have one lane open, operating for both east bound and west bound traffic. Please use caution in this area. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic.


Old School Backyard Multicultural Festival

June 24, 2017 (rain date July 1, 2017) at Merritt Park -  SW 2nd and SW 3rd Avenues from SE 2nd to SE 4th Streets from noon to approximately 8PM.
