Chief Keith Tomey grew up in the fire service – his father retired from the fire service with 32 years of service, 20 of them as Fire Chief.   Chief Tomey has 33 years in the fire service – 30 of them with the Miramar Fire-Rescue Department.

Beginning his career as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Chief Tomey moved through the ranks as a Medical Preceptor, Lieutenant, Captain, Division Chief and Deputy Chief.

Chief Tomey has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science. Chief Tomey has been designated a Chief Fire Officer through the Center of Public safety Excellence and holds the title of Executive Fire Officer.

Chief Green is a native Floridian and began his fire service career in 1984 with the City of West Palm Beach Fire Department. He served as a Firefighter, Driver Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Chief of Operations when he retired after nearly 28 years of service. During that time, he served as the Chief of Training & Special Operations and was a founding member of the Department’s Special Operations Program. He joined the Delray Beach Fire-Rescue Department in June of 2012.

Cecelia Shade began her employment with the City of Delray Beach in May, 1995 as an Office Assistant I in the City Managers Office.She began her career with Delray Beach Fire-Rescue Department on February 18, 1997 as a Staff Assistant I in the Fire Safety Division. She was reclassified to Staff Assistant II in October 1999. She was promoted to Executive Assistant to Fire-Rescue Chief in September 2004, and again to her current position as Administrative Officer in December 2008.

A native Floridian, and certified State of Florida Notary Public, she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman College (now Bethune-Cookman University), and a Master of Education Degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Steve Anderson became a Firefighter in 1983. He has been a member of the Delray Beach Fire Rescue Department since 1992 and has served as a Paramedic-Firefigther, Shift Lieutenant, Paramedic Lieutenant-Training Division, and, Paramedic Lieutenant-Operations. He currently is certified Florida State Paramedic, Firefighter, and Fire Safety Inspector. Chief Anderson has an Associates of Science Degree in Fire Science from Keiser University.

Steve Moews became a member of the Delray Beach Fire Rescue Department in January of 2001.Since joining the department, Chief Moews has progressed through the ranks of Firefighter/Paramedic, Driver Engineer, Special Operations Lieutenant, Captain, EMS Captain and now currently serves as the Division Chief of Training and Safety. 

He currently holds certifications as a Florida State Firefighter, Paramedic, Fire Inspector, Hazardous Materials Technician, Confined Space/Rope Rescue Technician and Instructor 3. Chief Moews has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Science from Kaplan University.

Chief Wetzel has been a member of the Delray Beach Fire-Rescue Department since 1991. He has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, and Lieutenant. In 2009, he was promoted and assigned as the Battalion Chief in charge of “B” shift. In 2012 he was assigned as the Division Chief of Training and Safety, and reassigned in 2013 as a Battalion Chief in charge of "C" Shift. He was assigned the duties of EMS Chief in May of 2014.

He currently holds certifications as a Florida State Paramedic; Firefighter; Fire Inspector; Instructor 1, 2, and 3; and a Hazardous Materials Technician. Chief Wetzel has earned an Associate of Arts degree, an Associates of Science Degree in Fire Science, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration.

Todd Lynch has been a member of the Delray Beach Fire Rescue Department since June of 1999.  He has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Driver Engineer, Lieutenant, and Captain. He was also assigned as the Station Captain for the Special Operations Team. He now currently serves as the Battalion Chief in charge of "C" shift.  He  currently holds certifications as a Paramedic, Fire Inspector, Hazardous Materials Technician, Confined Space Rescue Technician, Rope Rescue Technician and is a member of the Dive Rescue Team.

Chief Lynch has earned an Associate of Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services from Broward Community College.

Gregory Giaccone has been a member of the Delray Beach Fire Rescue Department since 1991. He has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Driver Engineer, Lieutenant, and the Division Chief of Training. In 2003 he was assigned as the Battalion Chief in charge of "C" shift. He currently holds certifications as a Paramedic, Fire Inspector, Instructor I, Hazardous Materials Technician, Confined Space Rescue Technician , and a member of the Dive Rescue Team.

Chief Giaccone has earned an Associate of Science Degree in Fire Science  from Palm Beach Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Thomas University.  He is also a graduate of The Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy.
