The Delray Beach Office of Economic Development offers numerous funding opportunities to help attract and retain companies that are creating jobs, investing capital, and substantially enhancing the local tax base. The OED is your one-stop shop for information on grants, incentives and loans offered by the City of Delray Beach and the Delray Beach CRA, as well as regional and state economic development organizations.
The Microenterprise Program supports business expansion and job creation, and encourages private investment throughout the City of Delray Beach by offering low interest loans and business development services to businesses with five or fewer employees. The program utilizes a combination of City, CRA and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. For more information, contact the Neighborhood Services Division at (561) 243-7280.
The Delray Beach CRA offers a variety of programs to encourage commercial property improvements and job creation throughout the CRA District, including signage reimbursements, façade grants, rent assistance, and loan interest subsidies. To learn more, contact the OED to register to attend a pre-application workshop. Program guidelines and application forms are available for download on the Delray Beach CRA website.
Access to Capital
In addition to the programs offered directly by OED, additional opportunities may be available to you through other private investment firms. Whether you seek financing for your construction project or venture capital for your growing company, you may be able to leverage other funding streams with the resources available through our extended network of funding partners.
