Parks and Recreation Department Mission Statement:
The Parks and Recreation Department will enrich the quality of life for the people of Delray Beach by providing significant recreational opportunities in exemplary park environments.
Parks and Recreation offers a variety of programs, activities and special events to everyone in the community as well as guests and visitors. Parks and Recreation maintains over 40 parks and recreational facilities including two pools, a splash park, athletic fields, skate park, and one and a half miles of public beach that is guarded 365 days a year.

~ Spaces for sixty sailboats are available on the north end of the beach.

National Skateboarding Day ~ June 21. Free Skate at the "505" Teen Center and Hobbit Skate Park
Boundless Playground Ribbon Cutting ~ June 27 at Robert P. Miller Park.
July is National Parks and Recreation Month ~ An entire month celebrating Parks and Recreation
Youth Basketball Clinics ~ Fridays, Saturdays and Wednesdays during the month of July.
Teen Independence Day Picnic ~ July 2, at the "505" Teen Center and Hobbit Skate Park
31st Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run and Walk ~ November 18, 7:30 am. RESULTS POSTED
Delray Beach Senior Games ~ March 2 - 9, 2018. 5K Road Race still open for registration. Results being posted.
