Personnel Policies
These Personnel Policies implement the City's personnel management system and conform to the personnel policies and principles established by the City Manager, the City Commission of Delray Beach and applicable state and federal employment laws. These Policies, together with the Civil Service Code of Rules and Regulations shall govern personnel-related matters of the City unless superseded by other specific regulations established in the City Charter or Code or Florida Statutes.
However, these Personnel Policies and the Civil Service Code of Rules and Regulations shall not apply to employees covered under the terms of a collective bargaining agreement (union contract) or expired collective bargaining agreement which is subject to renegotiations, unless otherwise specifically provided for.
