City of Delray Beach will hold its annual Infrastructure Improvement Hearing on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 6:00 pm in the City Hall Commission Chambers, 100 N.W. 1st Avenue.
The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on potential infrastructure needs or deficiencies throughout the city such as sidewalks, sewer or water main related items, street lighting, street repairs and resurfacing, public street signage, drainage issues, environmental concerns, landscape maintenance, parks and recreational and the municipal beach. The community is encouraged to attend to help the City identify areas most in need of improvements.
The hearing will be conducted as the first item of the regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Board meeting, which also serves as the City’s Local Planning Agency. An additional meeting will be held in early 2018 to review the comments received.
Members of the public who are unable to attend may provide comments or suggestions in writing prior to the hearing. The comments will be sent to the Planning and Zoning Board and entered into the record. Letters may be submitted in person or mailed to the Planning and Zoning Division at City Hall, 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33444, or sent via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org .
